As we move into spring, there are many opportunities to put mediation theories into practice. In my mediation practice at JAMS, 2016 has been a busy year. From catastrophic personal injury claims to contract claims involving solar panels on municipal stadiums, there is no shortage of interesting and challenging moments.

I'm often asked why continue to mediate everyday? The answer is that I enjoy the people, the challenge and, above all else, the learning. It's from this constant stream of experience that I am able to pan for real life 'gold' - examples of people in conflict which allows me to field test different approaches to problem solving.

That's why we say that Edwards Mediation Academy, is "Where Theory Meets Practice." We take seriously our commitment to providing practice-based solutions.
